Bonfire Worship


Let’s face it—the summer gets just as crazy for our schedules as it does during the programming year! We fill our weekends with drives to the lake, trips with friends, and visiting family (yay for vaccines!)… Summer is when we build some of our greatest and most joyful memories!

Unfortunately, Sunday worship falls smack dab in the middle of these exploratory weekends. We don’t want to leave you hanging and make you choose between family time and worship, so we’re adding a new worship opportunity this summer! Bring an appetite for s’mores, a voice for singing, and an eagerness to warm yourself by the fire… We’re having Bonfire Worship on the second and fourth Wednesday nights all summer (June 23, July 14, July 28, August 11, and August 25).

We’re going to sing contemporary Christian and camp songs, do some fun activities, engage some experimental preaching, and share Communion—all settled in God’s great creation! We are looking for volunteers, too, to help us in this new endeavor. Do you sing? Play guitar? Feel comfortable reading in front of others? Like building fires (AND tending them!)?
