Confirmation
This three-year program for our 7th-9th grade youth is held during the school year on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00pm. There is a strong emphasis on small group fellowship as well as Christian Education. We currently use the Faith Inkubators curriculum with some special Trinity "Twists"! We celebrate the re-affirmation of baptism (Confirmation) with our 9th graders the first weekend in May. For more information, or to get involved, contact Pastor Eric or Erika.

Youth Groups:

Faith 4 Life
This youth group for 5th and 6th graders meets on the first and third Sundays of the month from 6:30 - 8:00pm. Typically they meet in the Gustafson Fellowship Hall, although they sometimes have fun outings around town (like swimming) or in people's homes (like bonfires and scavenger hunts). They play games (a favorite is "Gargoyles") and have food! It's a really fun time! Faith 4 Life is led by parent volunteers who coordinate this group with Lori Hanson and Erika Reckling. Contact Erika to get involved.

Live the Life
This group for 7th, 8th and 9th graders meets the first and third Sundays of the month in the youth room from 6:30 - 8:00pm. This "junior high" youth group has fun and fellowship and learns to live the life! They've done everything from bowling parties, to Winter Olympic themes, to a Super Bowl Party to low-key nights of candles and prayers. Each month there is a message, games and lots of food (the youth really like to bake...and they're pretty good at it too!). Contact Erika to get involved.

Coffee Club
This senior high youth group for 10th, 11th and 12th graders meets EVERY week for some good conversation over hot java! Come when you can and bring your friends! There are two groups that meet. For more information or to get involved, contact Erika.

College / Young Adults
This "youth group" is for college age (Go Gusties!) and other 20/30 somethings. We meet Wednesday nights for some drinks, conversation and God with our group called Theology Pub. We meet from 9:00-10:30pm at Patrick's. Come when you can! Contact Erika to get involved.

Mission Trips
Every other year, Trinity hits the road on different mission trips. There is a junior high trip (always domestic) and a senior high trip (usually domestic, one international trip every 6 years). In the past, groups have gone to South Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming and Costa Rica.

In the summer of 2008, the Junior High group is off to Heifer International's Ranch in Perryvilla, Arkansas to learn about global poverty and environmental conservation. The Senior High group is headed to Chicago to work and learn more on urban poverty with the Center for Student Missions. For more information, or to get involved, contact Erika.
